While the engine is running the only sound is a large audible and irregular click. Also the 1 to 6 buttons dont really work when the engine is running. Any suggestions? Yes, there is a setting that can cause the radio to not turn back on if you disable the setting. Try the power button. If it does come back on then go turn the setting back the otherway. R U connecting the speakers to the low level amp outputs? that won't work if you do. Usually, speaker outputs are discrete connections, not via RCA jacks. Post model # of radio and I'll to help more I took the car for the dealer and they tried to run a few resets, I made sure the battery is charged, they poked around with it for a couple of weeks and got to the amp and came back saying that all the signal and systems are working but they don't know why there was no sound.
